Product Overview

The MC-II series pulse jet baghouse dust collector is a new and improved pulse jet baghouse dust collector developed based on the MC-I series. To further enhance the MC-I series, the original design has been modified. The improved MC-II series retains all the advantages of the MC-I series, including high purification efficiency, large gas handling capacity, stable performance, convenient operation, long filter bag life, and low maintenance requirements. In addition, structural improvements and modifications to the pulse valves have solved the problems of outdoor installation and low compressed air source pressure.

The MC-II series pulse jet baghouse dust collector represents a significant improvement over the original MC-I series. It features a more reasonable structure, lower injection pressure, excellent cleaning effectiveness, and minimal maintenance requirements. It is currently the ideal pulse jet baghouse dust collector.

Structural Components

The basic structure of the MC-II series pulse jet baghouse dust collector consists of six main parts:

  1. Upper Housing: Consists of a liftable cover plate and an air outlet.

  2. Middle Housing: Consists of a perforated plate (tube sheet), filter bag assembly, and venturi nozzles.

  3. Lower Housing: Consists of an air inlet, dust hopper, and inspection door.

  4. Dust Discharge System: Consists of a speed reduction device and dust conveying/discharging device.

  5. Pulse Jet Cleaning System: Consists of a controller, control valves, pulse valves, injection pipes, air reservoir, and protective devices.

  6. Control Instrument: Uses the JMK-2 pulse control instrument or the WMK pulse non-contact control instrument.

Working Principle

Dust-laden gas enters the middle and lower housings through the dust collector air inlet. As the gas passes through the filter bags into the upper housing, the dust and gas are separated due to various filtration effects. Dust is adsorbed onto the filter bags, while the gas passes through the filter bags and venturi nozzles into the upper housing, then is discharged through the air outlet.

During the purification process, as time passes, more and more dust accumulates on the filter bags, gradually increasing the resistance of the filter bags and reducing the gas volume passing through them. To maintain normal operation of the dust collector, the resistance must be controlled within a specified range (typically 120–150 mm water column). When the resistance reaches this range, the control instrument sends signals to sequentially trigger each control valve, opening the pulse valves. Compressed air from the air reservoir is injected through the injection pipe nozzles and venturi nozzles into each corresponding filter bag. Under the instantaneous reverse action of the airflow, the filter bags expand sharply, causing the dust accumulated on the bag surfaces to fall off, thereby regenerating the filter bags. The removed dust falls into the hopper and is discharged from the unit through the dust discharge system. Since the dust accumulated on the filter bags is periodically removed, the purified gas can pass through normally, ensuring the dust collector operates properly.

Features

  1. Longer Service Life: The MC-II series retains all the advantages of the original MC-I series while adopting the low-resistance QMF-20P pulse valve. This extends the service life of the control system and filter bags by more than double compared to the MC-I series, reducing maintenance workload.

  2. Lower Compressed Air Pressure Requirement: The compressed air pressure for cleaning has been reduced from the original 5–7 kg/cm² to 3 kg/cm², while still achieving the same cleaning effectiveness as 5–7 kg/cm², thus expanding the range of applications.

  3. Improved Sealing: Structural improvements have enhanced the airtightness of the equipment, reducing air leakage to below 10%, further improving product quality.

  4. Better Maintenance Access: The cover opening mechanism and filter bag fixing method have been redesigned, improving working conditions for equipment inspection and maintenance.

  5. Weatherproof Design: The injection device is equipped with a protective cover, and the cover plate structure incorporates rainproof measures, allowing the dust collector to be installed outdoors without the need for a separate rain shelter, reducing construction investment.

  6. Improved Dust Discharge: The original screw conveyor has been removed and replaced with a YJD series automatic rotary discharge valve combination airlock, improving dust discharge effectiveness, reducing maintenance, providing a tight seal, and allowing faster dust discharge.
