Weighing Feeder / Belt Weigher Feeder

The weighing feeder is a continuous weighing and feeding device that integrates feeding, conveying, weighing metering, and quantitative control into one system, widely used for precise batching and flow control of bulk materials.

The equipment mainly consists of a belt conveyor, load cells, a speed sensor, a variable frequency drive (VFD), and an intelligent controller. Material falls evenly from the hopper onto the belt. The load cells measure the weight per unit length of material on the belt in real time, while the speed sensor monitors belt speed. The controller calculates the instantaneous flow rate and total accumulated amount (Flow Rate = Weight per Unit Length × Belt Speed), compares them with the setpoint, and adjusts belt speed via the VFD to achieve closed-loop quantitative feeding. Metering accuracy generally reaches ±0.5% to ±1.0%, with a wide feeding capacity range (0.05 to 1000 t/h).

Optional accessories such as sealed housings, cleaning devices, belt tracking devices, and emergency stop switches are available to suit different operating conditions. In industries such as building materials, metallurgy, chemicals, and power generation, weighing feeders are commonly used for precise feeding control in applications such as raw meal batching, clinker batching, slag grinding, and coal conveying.
