Product Details
This series is designed for lifting cast iron ingots, steel balls, iron ore, machined chips, various scrap iron in foundries (such as returned materials and cut tips), baled scrap steel, etc. In steelmaking slag treatment processes, it is used for the initial removal of large iron pieces. It is also used for lifting iron powder in coal washing plants. The series features a double-chamber junction box with an extra-thick protective plate and an anti-twist design for the outgoing cable. The MW5 series lifting electromagnet is available in standard type, high-temperature type, and high-frequency type.
MW5 Series Standard & High-Temperature Types: These typically use constant voltage control, though strong excitation or over-excitation control methods are also available. The standard duty cycle is generally TD60%. The MW5 series high-temperature type incorporates special heat-resistant measures and can lift scrap steel at temperatures up to 700°C.
MW5 Series High-Frequency Type: This type generally uses strong excitation or over-excitation control with a duty cycle of TD75%. Using strong excitation (DC-290V/200V) can increase lifting capacity by approximately 6%. For large units, over-excitation (DC350V/290V/200V) can accelerate the excitation speed of the electromagnet and increase lifting capacity by approximately 12%.
Simple structure and easy installation — can be conveniently integrated with various types of lifting equipment.
For magnetic materials of different densities, please select the appropriate MW5 series lifting electromagnet according to the "MW5 Series Lifting Electromagnet Material Pickup Characteristic Curve" shown in the figure on the right.
