MW84 Series Lifting Electromagnet for Steel Plates

This series is specifically designed for lifting medium and heavy steel plates. Featuring an optimized magnetic circuit design, it is suitable for use in medium and heavy plate mills, shipyards, and machinery manufacturing plants. Users can select the appropriate model based on their specific requirements: single-plate series (Type 300), few-plate series (Type 350), or multi-plate series (Type 400). The few-plate and multi-plate series can be equipped with magnetic field adjustment control, ensuring the ability to lift either a single plate or multiple plates while allowing single-plate release.

Since long steel plates are prone to bending and deformation during handling, multiple electromagnets should be used together when selecting lifting magnets for such applications. For long medium and heavy plates (6mm–32mm), the spacing between electromagnets is typically 3–4 meters. The overhang length at each end should not exceed half of the spacing distance. During operation, plate bending and deformation can affect safe handling. When selecting electromagnets, attention should be paid to the corresponding parameters between the electromagnet length and the handling width relative to the plate thickness. These parameters should not be exceeded, especially when lifting multiple plates.
