This machine is a fully counter-current drum magnetic separator specifically designed for recovering magnetic media in heavy media coal preparation plants. The magnetic field distribution characteristics of this series are optimized for maximum recovery of fine particles. The corresponding structure within the separation equipment has been ingeniously designed to generate a reasonable slurry flow direction, significantly improving the recovery rate of magnetic minerals. This equipment has strong adaptability to variations in process parameters such as feed flow rate and concentration, making it widely used in heavy media coal preparation plants.

Working Principle

This equipment utilizes the magnetic force generated by a permanent magnetic system to attract magnetic minerals in the slurry to the surface of the drum. The magnetic minerals then rotate together with the drum. After leaving the magnetic field zone, they are discharged from the machine under the action of gravity and (optionally) a scraper. The non-magnetic materials are discharged through the tailings outlet, completing the separation process.
